The youth TV channel of Flemish public broadcaster VRT has renewed its entire channel branding. After winning a competitive pitch, PURE Audio was selected to create the music compositions for all Ketnet ('youngster net') station idents. The mission was building a lively soundtrack that evokes curiosity and stimulates creativity.
Playful
In line with the clever visual design, we aimed for original sound design that feels cheerful and playful. A sound that is appealing to the youthful target group, that is surprising and that holds the attention. And that fits with the Ketnet brand values: positivity, relaxation and fascination, as well as engagement and connection.
Imagination
The visual style was developed by Ketnet, and animated by Flemish visual designers. PURE Audio's expertise was then brought in for the sonic branding. "This collaboration will undoubtedly stimulate the creativity and imagination of the children”, network manager Annemie Gulickx says about this exciting co-creation.
